Maxence Lacroix, a French Soccer player, began his career in 2018 when he made his senior debut at Sochaux. He then spent four years at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. Today, however, the Chelsea Star shares how Jesus totally changed his life and flipped it upside down.
Calling Christianity and his relationship with the Lord the new “foundation” for his life, Lacroix believes without God, he wouldn’t be where he is today.
“I didn’t grow up in a Christian family, but I really met Jesus some years ago, and I changed totally my life, to walk totally like he wants,” Lacroix said in a Chelsea Football Club Facebook feature.
Lacroix, who plays defense, went on to explain to Premiere Christian News that this foundation and stability are something that has helped him both on and off the field:
“It was a beautiful journey…the journey is not finished, of course. But yeah, it’s like the foundation of my life,” he said. “And this helps me every single day, every single moment because sometimes in football, you have ups and downs.. and it’s really important to have something different than just human beings.”
