On September 10th, 2025, just one day before the anniversary of 9-11, another disaster swept the nation. Charlie Kirk, an American right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and media personality, was assassinated. As the co-founder of Turning Point USA (2012), a student-led conservative organization, Kirk was known for his bold faith, authentic living, and persuasive speech.
Since his death, Regent University in Virginia Beach has recently hosted Turning Point USA Faith’s 2026 “Make Heaven Crowded” Tour. What started as Kirk’s small campus club has now grown into a mission to equip and inspire young people to serve God and their world. Current president of Turning Point USA Faith, Lucas Miles, notes that their mission is clear and will remain intact:
“And here’s what the Bible tells us,” he said. “Paul writes to Timothy that it’s not God’s will that any should perish but that all should come to a knowledge of the truth,” Miles told CBN.
Around the university campus and worldwide, young adults are finally able, willing, and open to accepting this message. Regent University student Allie Munro explained, “People have become more interested in hearing about the gospel and hearing about Christianity,” she said. According to 25-year-old Eric Faulkner, “Everyone out there is hungry for truth,” he said. “They just want to know something. They’re tired of feeling the void. They want hope. They want something to hold on to.”
