Meet Our Volunteers

: Charis Rae. Social Media Support— Charis is a daughter of the King and free spirit. With years of experience in the marketing field, she specializes in SEO, web design, and social media content. After being diagnosed with OCD twenty years too late, Charis is passionate about spreading awareness about mental health, especially for the Jesus-loving folk.

: Lauren Watt. PR Assistant + Engagement + Growth Team II— Lauren is in her mid-twenties and is navigating adulting with chronic illness. Once the shy girl, she is now described as a networking guru by her friends. Professionally, she works as a virtual assistant for clients in the faith and mental health spaces, and she does a variety of marketing and administrative tasks, including PR and graphic design. She enjoys crocheting, reading, and having deep conversations with family and friends.

: Skyler Harrison. Retreat + Event Support— Hi, I’m Skyler — a photographer based in Frederick, Maryland, with a deep love for capturing life’s meaningful moments and the beauty of God’s creation. Whether it’s a quiet glance, a joyful celebration, or the stillness of nature, I believe photography is a powerful way to preserve stories and emotions that matter most. My passion for photography is closely tied to my faith and my heart for people. I’m deeply committed to creating a space where others feel seen, valued, and understood — both through my lens and in everyday life. I’m also a strong advocate for mental health and believe in the healing power of creativity, community, and connection.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me hiking a favorite trail, reading or journaling, and spending quality time with friends and family.

: Kenna McEvoy Brainstorming Specialist 1— Kenna is passionate about supporting, mentoring, and encouraging others. She has personal and professional experience as a patient advocate for those with medical and mental health challenges, including anxiety and OCD. Kenna believes that every person’s story is unique, matters, and deserves to be heard. With a college degree in behavior change, Kenna has a firm grasp of mental health and chronic illness. Her numerous volunteer, internship, and professional experiences position her well to serve others in the context of a nurturing and supportive environment. Kenna holds a hopeful, compassionate, and strengths-based outlook towards everyone and is dedicated to ensuring that no one feels alone on their mental health journey. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family, volunteering, catching up with friends, and advocating for patients.

: Hannah Wright. Pinterest and Visual Content Specialist— My name is Hannah Wright, and I’m a 28-year-old who loves Jesus and lives in Texas. I was diagnosed with OCD, anxiety, and depression, and have had many ups and downs on my mental health journey, but I’m thankful that the Lord has been there with me through it all. My mental health struggles have given me a passion for encouraging others who go through similar things and reminding them that they’re not alone and God loves them! In my free time, I love reading, creative writing, watching YouTube or a good show, spending time with friends, going to concerts, and traveling when I can.

: Anna Dietz. PR Assistant + Engagement + Growth Team— My name is Anna Dietz, and I am proud to be a Daughter of the King! After years of battling physical and mental health struggles, I can say without a doubt that the Lord remains faithful through all. I love animals, music, homesteading, finding new hobbies, and helping others, but I especially enjoy spreading joy and telling those around me about our hope in Christ!
