Did you know… ➡️Burnout isn’t holy. ➡️Exhaustion Did you know…

➡️Burnout isn’t holy.
➡️Exhaustion isn’t proof of devotion.
➡️And running yourself into the ground is not what God meant by “faithful.”

You’re allowed to rest before you break. Even in a world that gets this backwards.

❤️❤️❤️Save this for the next time you feel guilty for slowing down — and follow for more faith + mental health truth.
Have you ever felt like God was asking you to step Have you ever felt like God was asking you to step out in faith…but fear, anxiety, or *all the overthinking* made you want to hold back? 🙋‍♀️

Maybe it’s a career shift, a creative dream, or a yes that feels way bigger than you.

My guest today, **children’s author + mom of three, @authortiffanytutu **, knows exactly what that feels like—and honestly, so do I.

Tiffany and I first met at Camp for Creatives when both of us were leaving behind “safe” careers—me from teaching, her from pharmacy—to follow God into writing. We bonded instantly (shoutout to the rainy mountain carpool 😂), and since then I’ve had the joy of editing her books and cheering her on as a friend.

In today’s conversation, we talk about:

💛 What it really means to take “God steps”
💛 How to obey God when anxiety is loud
💛 Navigating big life transitions + career changes
💛 Helping kids and moms practice bravery
💛 Discerning God’s voice when everything feels overwhelming
💛 Why God invites us into partnership with Him

If you’ve ever felt scared, stuck, or unsure of the path ahead—this episode is for you. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the *next* best step.

Just a little poem for those of you wrestling with Just a little poem for those of you wrestling with the winter blues ❤️
“Is anxiety a sin?” Let’s clear this up—no. Anxie “Is anxiety a sin?”
Let’s clear this up—no.

Anxiety does not automatically mean you don’t trust God.

Jesus Himself experienced emotional distress.

And clinical anxiety is a medical condition, not a spiritual failure.

You can:
-trust God and feel anxious
-love Jesus and need therapy
-walk in faith and take medication

Your emotions don’t disqualify your belief.
Your healing journey doesn’t make you less spiritual.

Save this. Share it with someone who’s been carrying unnecessary shame.❤️
🎙️ Ever wondered what Gen Z, mental health, and wr 🎙️ Ever wondered what Gen Z, mental health, and writing have in common?

I had the absolute joy of joining Russ Moore, and Tim Moore for a live podcast episode with X Church — and they even put it on YouTube so you can watch the whole conversation! 😍

We talked about writing & publishing, eating disorders, mental health, and hope for the wintery season. And maybe dogs…just a smidge 🐶❄️❤️

The episode is live now!

You can find it on the X Church podcast, watch the YouTube video, or comment “HOPE” below and I’ll DM you the link directly. ❤️

Guess I’m just being real, friends ❤️ Honestly, p Guess I’m just being real, friends ❤️

Honestly, posting authentically on socials can be hard. Not because I’m scared of what other people will think, but because I still struggle to love myself—imperfections and all.

But you know what? This is me.
Acne.
Medications.
Weird allergy treatments and all.
And this is real.

I hope that you can feel encouraged to be real in this space, too. Because that’s who you are. And you’re welcome here.❤️

Do you struggle with/ have any of these things??⬇️ plz tell me I’m not the only one with acne!!!
Feeling the winter blues creeping in? ❄️ Same. T Feeling the winter blues creeping in? ❄️
Same.

This season can make everything feel heavier, slower, and harder to navigate.

If you’re in that space, here are 5 tiny things that actually help:

1. Sit by a window for 10 minutes- it seems odd, but looking at nature and the light brings light to our weary souls.

2. Drink water before caffeine- yes, I just called out all the coffee and tea drinkers haha. But hydrate with h20 before!!

3. Get fresh air (even if it’s cold)- I hate the cold, but taking my dog on walks gets me outside!🥶

4. Talk to someone you trust- I love sharing my heart with my best friends and my husband. If you don’t feel like talking, try journaling instead!

5. Pray honestly — not perfectly- God what’s to hear from you. Even in broken and anxious pleas.

You’re not broken. You’re human.
And you’re not alone in this season. 💛

💬 What’s one tiny thing that helps your mood in winter? Drop it below — someone else might need your idea.⬇️⬇️⬇️

Faith in God is not life-giving if you ignore your mental and emotional health. Healthy faith attends to what you're feeling because it expresses the needs of your heart and soul.
