If you feel overwhelmed today, this is for you. 🤍

Maybe your mind won’t stop spinning.
Maybe your to-do list feels heavier than you can carry.
Maybe you’re wondering if God is disappointed in how tired you are.

But here’s the truth:
✨ You’re allowed to rest.
✨ Jesus isn’t disappointed in you.
✨ The world won’t fall apart if you pause.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do… is exhale. Breathe. Take a moment to breathe in. Then let it OUT.

📌 Save this for the next hard day.
💬 Drop a “🫶” if you needed this today.

“Mental health struggles don’t disqualify you “Mental health struggles don’t disqualify you from being used by God.”

I used to think I had to be fully healed before I could be helpful.
That I had to be whole before I could be holy.
That struggling meant I was somehow disqualified.

But God doesn’t wait for perfection—He works through the pain.
He meets us in the middle of the mess.
And He uses even the thorns in our side to show others His grace.

If you’re walking through anxiety, depression, burnout, or anything in between—
You are still called.
Still chosen.
Still loved.

🖤 Save this for the next time the enemy tries to convince you otherwise.

You know what causes me a lot of anxiety? 😅🥲 You know what causes me a lot of anxiety? 😅🥲😅🥲😅🥲😅🥲😅🥲😅🥲😅🥲
Food allergies.
It’s more than just “being picky”—it’s reading every label, asking every restaurant question, and still praying you don’t react. 🙃

In this reel, I’m sharing a few of my allergy-friendly go-tos that have helped make eating a little less stressful (and a lot more enjoyable). 🌱✨

Got food allergies too? Let’s swap ideas—
👇 Drop your favorite safe snacks or meals in the comments!

P.S. Because I know someone will ask me…I’m allergic to dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, tomatoes, paprika, red pepper, cayenne, chili powder, black walnuts, and cashews.😅

P.S.S. Before you ask… yes, this impacts mental health. I’ve literally cried in a bathroom at a restaurant before because they didn’t have anything I could eat. It’s a real struggle!!

Anxiety is loud. But God is louder. Here are 5 l Anxiety is loud. But God is louder.

Here are 5 lies anxiety whispers—and what God lovingly says in return:

1️⃣ “I have to be in control.”
🕊️ Truth: “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” — Proverbs 19:21

2️⃣ “I constantly need to be busy.”
🕊️ Truth: “In vain you rise early and stay up late... for He grants sleep to those He loves.” — Psalm 127:2

3️⃣ “I am not good enough.”
🕊️ Truth: “You are God’s masterpiece.” — Ephesians 2:10

4️⃣ “I will never get better.”
🕊️ Truth: “The Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” — Psalm 34:17

5️⃣ “I’m the only one struggling.”
🕊️ Truth: “Jesus understands every weakness of ours.” — Hebrews 4:15

💬 Let this be your reminder: Anxiety may speak, but it doesn’t get the final word. God does.

Which one do you need to hold onto today?👇

When the world tells us rest is lazy, God calls it When the world tells us rest is lazy, God calls it holy.

After over a decade of trauma, anxiety ruled my life. My mind raced, my heart pounded, and rest felt impossible. There was always one more thing to do — one more task, one more post, one more thing to prove. Resting felt like failure.

But God never designed us to live this way. He modeled rest Himself. “On the seventh day, God rested from all His work… and declared it holy.” (Genesis 2:2-3)

In May 2024, I resigned from teaching. I thought I was stepping into rest, but instead, I rushed into the next thing. Endometriosis surgery. Conferences. Book deals. Hustle.

And yet… God still whispers: Rest is a choice.

We make a thousand decisions a day. What if one of them was to honor the gift God called holy?

💬 Tell me below: What’s one way you’re choosing rest this week?⬇️⬇️⬇️❤️

In this new episode of the Authentically Amber Podcast, I’m sharing one of my most embarrassing stories ever (yes, there’s a faceplant involved 😅)… but it’s not just about the fall—it’s about the faith, too.

Here’s your reminder that God shows up even in the most cringeworthy moments.
He’s not asking for perfection. He’s already present in your mess—with laughter, love, and a whole lot of grace.

“You’re fine.” “Just push through.” “E “You’re fine.”
“Just push through.”
“Everyone’s tired.”
“Anxiety is a lack of faith.”
“Depression is selfish.”
“Pray it away.”
“Therapy is for crazy people.”

Really??? Friends…
We’re not falling for that propaganda anymore.🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Mental health isn’t weakness.
It’s okay to rest.
Getting help doesn’t make you less holy.
And Jesus never once told someone to hustle harder to heal.💁‍♀️

You can be full of faith *and* fall apart.
You can love God *and* need a counselor.
You can rest, struggle, cry, and still be deeply loved by the One who made you.

Let’s be done with shame and start choosing honesty.
Healing is holy. 💛🕊️

For years, I thought contentment meant having it a For years, I thought contentment meant having it all together. A stable job. Perfect skin. A body I didn’t want to hide.

But I’ve learned contentment isn’t found in what you have—it’s found in who you are.
And being content starts with loving yourself.❤️

Not the filtered version. Not the version that performs for approval. The version God created. The one that’s still growing. Still healing. Still showing up.❤️

If that’s hard for you, you’re not alone. I’ve lived it.

But I’ve also lived to say: it gets better.

And you? You are already enough.
Let’s stop letting the mirror or the feed define our worth.
Let’s start where healing begins—with love.

The easiest way to pray? Like a child—simple, The easiest way to pray?

Like a child—simple, honest, and from the heart. No need for fancy words or perfect phrasing. God isn’t looking for perfection, just sincerity. Even with our mental health struggles. ❤️

As a kid, my prayers sounded something like:
“God is good, God is great, now we thank Him for our food. Amen.”

In Luke 18, Jesus reminds us that humble prayers—like the tax collector’s—are the ones God honors. When we come with honest, open hearts, we’re exactly who God wants us to be.

Tonight’s prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to pray with a sincere heart, not perfect words. Renew my spirit and remind me You hear me, just as I am. Amen.

A Pathway Through The Wilderness — Your Nightly A Pathway Through The Wilderness — Your Nightly Prayer

In life’s hardest seasons, God doesn’t just help us survive — He makes a way through the wilderness and creates rivers in the dry places (Isaiah 43:18-19).

My mental health journey has been a wilderness at times — feeling lost, broken, and distant from God. But His promise to do something new keeps me going. I’m learning to release the past and walk forward in faith, knowing I’m never alone.

Your prayer tonight:
Jesus, when I feel lost and afraid, remind me You make a way where there is none. Lead me into new life. Amen.

💬 What wilderness season are you in right now? Let’s encourage one another below.⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Faith in God is not life-giving if you ignore your mental and emotional health. Healthy faith attends to what you're feeling because it expresses the needs of your heart and soul.
